Azure Hybrid Use Benefit

Rather than paying the full price for a new Windows Server virtual machine, you will pay only the base to compute rate.

When you are ready to transition workloads to the public cloud, you can leverage your existing investment in Windows Server. The Azure Hybrid Use Benefit lets you bring your on-premises Windows Server license with Software Assurance to Azure. Find more details at

**Microsoft's Open Value program is available in upfront or spread payments.

Spread payments are made every year until all 3 years are paid for. Afterwards, the licensing will be yours to keep indefinitely and the option to renew software assurance for 2 or 3 years will be available.

Upfront payment option includes one single payment that covers software assurance for 3 years and ensures your licensing term indefinitely. Options for 2 and 3 year software assurance renewal will be available.
