Overview

 Windows 8 32-bit

Microsoft Windows 8 64-bit DSP OEI software is available for immediate shipping at Tech Supply Shop. The Windows 8 operating system was designed with tablets and touchscreen PCs and laptops in mind, but it can be used in PCs that are not touchscreen-capable. Windows 8 is famous for not having the traditional start screen, but this version of the Windows operating system does include built-in antivirus software, support for USB 3.0. Since this is the 64-bit version of the software, it can only be installed on 64-bit systems. The software will not work on 32-bit systems so please check your machine's specifications before ordering. As Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEI) software, this operating system will be tied to your machine and cannot be installed again once activated. If your machine ceases to work, you will not be able to install the software on another device. The acronym DSP Refers to Delivery Service Partner and specifies that the software is typically used by smaller computer manufacturers.

Single-pack of Microsoft Windows 8 32-Bit OEM software on DVD. Package includes DVD and Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Windows 8 has been reimagined to be all about your customers. Put what matters most right on their Start screens. They can get instant access to people, apps, sites and more, spend less time searching and more time doing. Windows 8 is smooth, intuitive, and designed to let them do what they want, the way they want.

Vibrant and beautiful, the Start screen is the first thing you'll see. Each tile on the Start screen is connected to a person, app, website, playlist, or whatever else is important to you. Tiles light up with the latest info, so you're instantly up to date. In one glance, you'll see that photo you were just tagged in, tomorrow's weather, and messages from your friends. In Windows, even the little things are all about you. Like the screen that appears when your PC is locked - it can be any picture you choose. And you'll see quick notifications on your lock screen before you sign in to your PC or open a single app. With picture password, you can sign in by tracing a pattern on a picture of your choice instead of typing a password. Zigzag over your dog's face? Three taps on your child's nose? The choice is yours. Use your new tablet or laptop for entertainment, work, or both. Chat with a friend while scoping out a map, or play a game while getting stuff done. Go from spreadsheet to video in one swipe, or snap them side-by-side for easy multitasking. Built-in apps like People, Mail, Photos, and Messaging power you through all your essential tasks and work together for a single, streamlined experience. And there's a world of new apps to discover in the Windows Store.

Best version ever released

This is the best version of windows ever released! This Microsoft Windows 8 64-Bit DSP OEM version runs flawlessly on AMD processor with GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard. Networking is like magic when trying to connect all your home computers it just works! That's a nice change. All and all a very good product! I would give it 12 out of 10. I really like it. Why the heck couldn't they get it right before?

Using windows 7 for my work

I've been using Microsoft Windows 8 64-Bit DSP OEM on my work PC and home laptop for a while and really enjoy it. I built a PC from scratch recently and decided to stick with 7 even though 8 is out. I have 8GB of ram so I needed the 64-bit version (as all my other machines are) and don't need Microsoft support so went with OEM. Install was very easy and it's been running great with no crashes or blue screens (something I loathed about the 9x era).

Some vallidation issues, but it's fine now

New Macbook pro user who needed compatibility with Microsoft exchange server for work. This Microsoft Windows 8 64-Bit DSP OEM worked perfect. Partitioned hard drive with Bootcamp and installed Win 7 pro without any problems (except initially misreading the microscopic security code to validate the installation - i.e.. user error!). Was pretty concerned about getting it to work right, but it was very simple with the Mac instructions and works perfectly. I can remote-in to work and takeover my Windows desktop and run all Windows programs just perfectly. Good Win 7 product and good price for legit purchase and use.
