Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016 Digital License is a welcome and refreshing step forward in the Microsoft Office series. (I started with Multiplan in the early 80's!) Like Windows 7, Office 2016 seems lighter and quicker than its predecessor - and, like Windows 7, Office 2016 is full of wonderful surprises that the user discovers as you go about doing what you're used to doing. In other words, the transistion(s), from YOUR point of view, are smooth and friendly. It's more like someone went into your old computer, left all the reliable pieces intact, and scattered Christmas presents all over the place! Installation is super simple, leaving all your data intact just fine. Outlook even seemed to know where to find your pst files! Amazing, since I had moved them out into My Documents! Office 2016 is very friendly from installation on. Another great product, Microsoft!

I had Office 2007 Professional Plus installed on my computer when I was working and using the computer for my work. Since then I retired and when Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016 Digital License became available, I purchased the Office Home and Business version. Immediately I had problems with getting Outlook to work, and also received an error notice. So, since there is a ninety day warranty on new purchases of Office 2016, I called and found out that the two Office programs apparently were not compatible on the same conputer, and Microsoft assisted me in removing the 2007 version and reinstalling the 2016. I am rating this Office version a five star. Once it is installed, it is great. And I recommend it. It is worth the high price.

I purchased Microsoft Office Home and Business 2016 Digital License for use in my home network. Reason is because Windows Live Mail does not allow placing the storage folder onto a network drive. So it was not possible to maintain mail, contacts and calendar entries (birthdays!) in one place and accessible from both computers.

Now with Office 2016 I placed the Outlook-.pst file on the network drive. Finally mail, contacts and calendar entries are in one place accessible from both computers (not accessible at the same time though!). Overall I enjoy working with the new version 2010. It has a fresh look and is enjoyable to work with. However, version 2016 is by far not as intuitively to use as version 2003. There is quite some time to get used to it. Furthermore, in my opinion, in some areas it is overloaded with features. Nevertheless, I assign 5 stars for the software and the Tech Supply Shop support. Once you got used to it you do not want to miss the fresh look.
