Try the free Hypervisor and determine if the solution is right for you. It most likely will be, if you are trying to leverage the hardware you have for optimum use. Figuring out upgrade paths can be a pain, because of having to verify all the compatible versions between the different integrated components.

The vsphere desktop app is quick and snappy and provides quick access to any virtual machine in your environment. Plenty of information is provided about each vm. vSphere serves as our single pane of glass dashboard for our hypervisor environment. Adoption by all other major vendors has provided us with plug-ins to manage the majority of our infrastructure using vSphere instead of having appliance access to every single product. The product updates are timely and substantial in nature, generally providing a huge bump in functionality with a limited learning curve.
