I'd been a "PC" guy since the early 90s. After the release of Vista, I became frustrated and decided to switch to an Apple. In my transition to the Macbook Pro, I found that I really missed Outlook; Entourage just doesn't cut it for me. I decided to try virtualization software to see if I could get my Outlook back up and running. I installed trial versions of both Parallels and VMWare on my MBP (2.6GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB Ram, 200GB HDD). It didn't take long to realize that Parallels Desktop 13 - License was a superior product, so I dumped the VMWare and purchased Parallels 3. I recently upgraded from Parallels 12 to Parallels 13, I also upgraded to Windows 7 beta (64bit); everything went perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate reccomending this product to anyone. It's simple to install, works with every version of Windows (that I've ever tried to install), and gives you seamless access to all of your windows applications on Apple computers. You even have several options as to how the windows interacts with OSX (coherence, modality, etc.).

Installation was a breeze

Installation was a breeze and now that I have Parallels Desktop 13 - Licenserunning perfectly I can share the experience. Basically I chose this solution because of the performance advantage and need to be able to run Windows on Mac without rebooting and being able to launch Windows programs from my Desktop. So how does it work? I use Parallels Desktop 13 - License mainly to run dvd burning software and some work-related design software that is for Windows only... on a MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo notebook with 2GB ram. I was worried about system stability but haven't run into any issues. Performance is excellent. Highly useful product and I would not hesitate to recommend Parallels to a friend.

Nuance Problem

Still learning to use it. So far I have had no problems. Clean install and works very well. I can't get Dragon Naturally Speaking to install correctly and Nuance does not support it and you have to pay (Nuance) for your questions $9.95 per. Parallels 12 Desktop License has no charge e mail support but phone is $29.95 per. Al though i like the product capability providing simultaneous flow between windows and leapord, it crashes once in a while. I do not blame Parrallels for this. Their product is seamless. A PC is a necessary evil sometimes. All in all, i recommend this product.
