Vmware VSphere 5 Enterprise Plus Production Support Subscription 1 Yr

My introduction to VMware was at version VmwareVSphere 5 Enterprise Plus Production Support Subscription 1 Yr using the "classic" ESX with service console. We set up everything wrong, but worked for several years amazed at the capabilities. We rebuilt everything for ESX4.1, clustered our hosts, set up HA, DRS, used vMotion. It enabled us to run test and development networks, our time to deploy new servers went from hours down to minutes. We upgraded again deploying ESXi, vCenter 5, vCenter Operations, Site Recovery Manager and Log Insight. We've seen the product move from being the best hypervisor to creating an ecosystem of well coupled products. Hyper-V may be free, but I have much more confidence in the ability and ease of use of vSphere. I should shortly be getting some vSphere 6 training and I hope from that to get my VCP and continue working with this excellent range of products.

Been using VmwareVSphere 5 Enterprise Plus Production Support Subscription 1 Yr software since the 3.x days and never really had any issues. Like other people say, it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a visualization platform, this is it. Great product, makes management of computers and servers a breeze. If you can get it, get vmware and start victualing! I like pretty much every VMware product I've ever used. Its easy to use and maintain. This seriously is a great product.

VmwareVSphere 5 Enterprise Plus Production Support Subscription 1 Yr as a whole is a wonderful thing. It has helped made visualization easy, and their product is easy to learn the basics of. However, it can get expensive for some of their products and their phone support is not the best. Really, their phone support is the only thing that irked me about VMWare, but otherwise is a great product. A lifesaver in every way, hardware dies? It recovers the servers anyway, need more ram on one server? You can hot add it without downtime. Need more disk? Same again.It also ties in with a lot of other cool products that save your sanity like Zerto and Veeam. Still miles ahead of Hyper-V in many regards.
