Can't see what else it can do

I've only used VMware vSphere 5 Enterprise Plus Basic Support/Subscription, 1 Year for a relatively short time compared to my experience with Hyper-V, but I'd say VMWare and its management system are already making a huge positive impression on me. I'm keenly aware of its comparable ease and speed, as well as its level of granular control. Can't wait to see what else I can do.

I couldn't live without irt

We just made the jump from Xenserver to VMware vSphere 5 Enterprise Plus Basic Support/Subscription, 1 Year and oh-am-I-so-happy. I love it. It works great, its fast, intuitive, and powerful. Never going back! This is a must have when you get to the enterprise level. You could not manage all of your virtual machines without it. Easy to use and almost never fails.I could not imagine trying to manage all of the VM's we have if they were physical boxes. VMware and vSphere make my life so much easier than it should be. Best part has to be the snapshots!

Using it since release

I have been using VMware vSphere 5 Enterprise Plus Basic Support/Subscription, 1 Year since its release. I don't used the web client often as I originally fell in love with the fat client. An integral part of my duties made possible by this piece of software. Rock solid way of managing VMs. Interface was pretty much the same forever. Then something happened, they pushed the web client and nobody liked it. So now we have it split between the web and the local install. I can't dock any stars because this is about the local client, not the vcloud as a whole (web and local). Absolutely love the local instance. There is a ton of functionality, and you can use it to log in straight to the host IPs if there is an issue with one or all (DNS for instance).
