We are a small company including 12 employees. we are using Microsoft Sharepoint for our document management and also for our written communication with our clients. it is very good in keeping a history of different versions of a document. very good workflow design which covers all the needs and possibilities. It has also very good integration with Microsoft Word. The first search is a little bit slow. it takes time to show the search results and maybe assigning more resources, resolve the problem. for the best functionality, one needs Internet Explorer. although it works under the other browsers.

This Microsoft SharePoint Server 2016 has everything you need to collaborate with your partners (that may be far away); file sharing, shared agendas, communication, etc. It has a good integration with other Microsoft applications, including Word and Outlook. Once I played around with the program a little, I fell in love! I work in government and am administering a statewide program that will eventually have about 16 teams around the state with around 10 -12 employees on each team. I am able to have One primary site page for the entire program and site pages for each team. Each team site page has shared documents, calendars, discussion boards, FAQ's etc. It has made my life a lot easier as far as checking in and management of employees. I am still learning but so far so good. We are also able to edit live documents and save for others to see.
