Just Great

I've become Parallels Desktop 11 For Mac Retail Box biggest advocate since learning about it. I'm a former boot-camp user, it sounds so clich, but it really makes my life better - it's so cool! I love my MacBook except for the fact that my work requires windows to log in remotely. While stuck at home for a couple of weeks during a December snow storm, I finally installed boot-camp, but the drawbacks were obvious; it took forever to boot up my computer was slower than molasses and I was always forgetting to push the right button during start-up. What a headache. But, no more! With Parallels I can run Windows in Leopard, just like I would any other Mac application - no more rebooting. It is so much faster and easier. I love the fact that I can work on a document in Word for Mac, then fire up Parallels, log into my Windows-based Outlook and just drag and drop it into the email. No muss, no fuss and best of all, no rebooting. If you're looking to run Windows on your Mac, look no further - Parallels Desktop 11 For Mac Retail Box is just what you need.

Fusion Might Do Better

I've been working with Parallels Desktop 11 For Mac Retail Box for about a week now...and before getting into this review too far understand that I'm a season Windows practioner. I was using Windows Vista 2 years before it came available for public download in the Beta form so I do have some experience working in the MS area. I have multiple qualifications from MS and wouldn't trade them for all the bragging rights on iMac's to save my life. With all that being said though, I've been working on both Parallels and iMac for about a week now. I'm very pleased with the iMac, but so so with Parallels. Thus far, Vista has frozen once. Now, thats not to say that iMac or Parallels Desktop 11 For Mac Retail Box is responsible for that. However, at this time, from the reviews I've read, it would appear that Fusion might do a little better.

I work on the Internet Constantly

I work on the internet constantly and my home Dell laptop was starting to lose performance and overheat. After a 3rd consecutive crash, it was time for an upgrade. I decided to make the switch - I went to the nearest Mac store and bought myself a MacBook. The only problem was that I needed a way to continue to use Microsoft Office products and was pointed towards theParallels Desktop 11 For Mac Retail Box. I absolutely surprised on how seamlessly this software works. All I had to do was install the software and I was walked through the process. I definitely don't consider myself a tech guy and I always felt that Macs were beyond my capability, but now I can run both my OSX and Windows 7 beta and get all of the programs I need. I can use all of the programs that I'm familiar with, but with the added perk of doing it all on a Mac. Parallels Desktop 11 For Mac Retail Box
