really happy I got this!

My story is a very rewarding one. My experience with Parallels Desktop 10 For Mac With Windows 8 1 was very limited at first, After having purchased, and having attempted to use VirtualPC, Crossover & VMFusion, I had yet to find a way to run Realtime Landscaping Pro by Idea Spectrum, Inc. out of Bonney Lake, WA. Idea Spectrum Inc. is a 3D Graphics Landscape creation program that required a lot of Video graphics support. VirtualPC was too old, CrossOver wouldn't allow me to boot Windows XP Pro, and got Shader Error messages with VMFusion. I am really happy i purchased this software!

Needs time to learn the software

I have been a long time cross-platform user of Mac and Windows. My preference has been Mac, but work requirements dictate that a Windows machine share my desk. Until recently that meant two machines. When I got my new Mac Pro, I considered the notion of running Windows on the Mac for the first time, and Parallels was recommended. I did a little homework and Parallels Desktop 10 For Mac With Windows 8 1 seemed to be the best way to go. The arrangement has greatly simplified my workspace, and the two systems seem to get along just fine. I still prefer the Mac OS, but if you've got to run Windows occasionally, it's way better on a Mac, though i did require some time to figure out how to use the software.

Easy to use with this manual

After hearing from friends and colleagues who use Parallels, I decided to try it. Bought the boxed Parallels Desktop 10 For Mac With Windows 8 1. Tried to read and understand the thick manual that came with it. This program, Parallels, is very versatile and has a lot of features. Overwhelmed by all the documentation, I looked up the Support contacts at Parallels on line and found a well presented support site. Found the locations of the Parallels offices and learned a local office was just down the street from where I worked near Seattle, WA. I love my new MacBook Pro 13", and my experience with Parallels and their Support team made that experience even more rewarding. Just to know there are real people out there who care about their product and who are dedicated to what they believe in is a real breath of fresh air. In a world of corporate dictators who only want your business for the money, these folks really care, and are willing to go to whatever length necessary, to provide a very good product and can stand behind it 100%.
