Corrected the problem for me

I'm not sure about the problems other people have been having... I bought the hard copy disk, installed, and things were peachy. (I'm pretty sure if you just buy the activation key you'll need to download a trial of the office program first and then enter the key once the software has downloaded...that's how I've done it with other software). I won't say I love 2016 office as I think some things are more cumbersome than earlier versions...but this is the real software and I've had no problem with it, so 5 stars for that.

As a side note, I had another version of office on my laptop (2007) and even though I uninstalled it my computer was having trouble getting the shortcuts to work correctly to open my office files. This is not a problem with Microsoft Office Home and Business 2011 Mac 3 User License, however, just a random glitch due to multiple versions of office... I used the "office repair" through "Install/Uninstall programs" and it corrected the problem for me.

Glad I got it

LOVE this program - provides me with just enough bells and whistles that I need to conduct my in home business and personal projects My husband rave over this for his office use, would recommend it to anyone to get it. Thanks. Works as expected. I mostly got it for Outlook. In my opinion, MS Outlook is still the best email software on the market. So glad i bought Microsoft Office Home and Business 2011 Mac 3 User License from Tech Supply Shop, i have no regrets

Accustomed to office

If you are accustomed to Office 2007 or others, the closest item to purchase is the Microsoft Office Home and Business 2011 Mac 3 User License. You will get everything as a usual Office product except for Publisher. But, you gain one, also ..... OneNote. Therefore, I highly recommend purchasing this product and if you get points on your credit cards you can apply those to the purchase and make it even cheaper (gotta be smart in this economy). Hope you like it as much as I do, especially since I am writing a review and highly recommending the purchase to everyone. The only thing that disappointed me was that I was told that I would receive a "hard copy" on DVD in case my computer crashed and I had to re-install it. Instead, I got a card with the proof of purchase number that you have to enter on any software. and, quite honestly, I still expect that the supplier send me a hard copy of the software, as I was told that I would receive. So, Tech Supply Shop has to settle this part. but, as far as the program, I have no problems. Just the fact that I didn't get the hard copy of the program as informed that I would.
