They gave us free trial

Before our purchase of Veeam Backup Essentials Enterprise 2 socket bundle for Vmware I spoke at length with Tech Supply Shop as well as a lead tech person. They were willing to give us a free trial and extend it for months while we evaluated it. That is confidence! We ended up with recommendations for our environment, which we followed and has worked well for us. We are meeting and exceeding all of our needs with Veeam Backup Essentials Enterprise 2 socket bundle for Vmware. Test with your environment and roll out in phases. Review the recommended hardware and other setup documents. We use VMWare and CBT aware backup is the key feature.

Excellent backup sollution

Veeam Backup Essentials Enterprise 2 socket bundle for Vmware is an excellent backup solution with great support. Very easy to set up and it just works. Once the backup job is configured, you basically set it and forget it. If you run into any issues support is there to assist.Veeam Backup & Replication is probably the best backup solution out there. Become an even better backup solution after adding the physical servers backup feature. Test and lab environments are great features, plus the possibility to manage backup bandwidth on Enterprise Plus version. Exchange brick level works great and fast!

Come a long way

Veeam Backup Essentials Enterprise 2 socket bundle for Vmware has come a long way in their development. Every new version adds functionality. In all of my experience with the product, I've only encountered one problem in an earlier version, and never again after it was resolved. I find that their support often blames third party vendors where possible (eg. it's a VMware problem). If we were to start over, I would ensure that we have a more robust backup to disk repository. The amount of data we wanted to back up far exceeded our available disk. We also would've started off with Veeam Proxies in a more distributed fashion, and upgraded our network to use SFP+ 10Gbps from the beginning to ensure transfer speeds.
