This software has an open license and 1 Project Server Client Access License (CAL). The CAL is required to access the services of Project Server from any device. This is useful when a project manager, for example, needs access to the Project Server from a work computer and another computer at home. Project 2016 Professional is of course the most recent version of the longstanding Project line and new features include a new reports section, better integration with other Microsoft products and backwards compatibility with Project Server 2013. Unlike the new standard version of the software, this version offers the ability to collaborate with Skype for business presence, resource management tools, SharePoint task sync and Project Online/Project Server sync. The program includes out-of-the-box reporting tools to help project managers quickly and easily measure progress and resource allocation. Keeps you on thrack with your projects anywhere, Microsoft Project 2016 Professional with 1 Server CAL - Open License Pro is a very usefull program that increases your productivity to the next level. Timesheets are easilly updated and communication and sharing of the ideas is also elevated to the level of gods. Integrates automatically with microsoft office so Microsoft Project 365 Pro just slides into the gap between two microsoft programs that would not work together on it's own. there are good and bad things about Microsoft Project 2016 Professional with 1 Server CAL - Open License. Good thing being the pre-configured project templates. They make it easy to start using the software even though you knew nothing about it. It took me about 4 days to get confortable with the software and now i am working it like a professional. The bad thing is it's price. As all microsoft software, you will need to drop a substantial amount of cash for Microsoft Project 365 Lite, but that's just microsoft being microsoft. Tech Supply Shop even has it on lower price and it's still high.
