The main change between Office 2010 and Office 2007 is that the Ribbon is now fully customisable. In 2007 you were stuck with the default layout and couldn't do anything about it. In 2010 it's as simple as right-clicking and selecting Customize Ribbon. You've then got a simple list of commands that you can add into existing Tabs and Groups, plus you can create your own custom Ribbon entries. It's a little thing, but one that makes Office much easier to use, particularly for people that are used to the old menu systems. And i like that i made my own, it's easy fore me to do stuff since i put htem where they are.
That is microsoft Home and Business 2010. No unnecessary features, and that is awesome. Small businesess and hiomes, you name it, this office will do just fine. Outlook and OneNote are nice editions to the already existing softwares like Word, Excell and PowerpPoint, which is now a standard for every microsoft office version as long as it is from 2010. I am not sure if the older versions of office had powerpoint as a default software but i like that this one has.
Ribbon interface in all apps enhances consistency and usability. New Backstage menu makes file-management and printing options easy. Superb graphic tools include video editing and image enhancement. 64-bit version allows huge data sets in Excel. Lightweight Office Web Apps (not yet tested) will allow editing in a browser. I do not like the intrusive word auto formating, it makes me so angry i just want to smash my computer from time to time. I chose my current format, let me use it as i please, PLEASE!
