Microsoft Project 2007 Professional Open License
Microsoft Project 2007 Professional represents robust project management software that can connect to the Office Project Server over a wide area network (WAN). This software includes an active cache on the client side designed to reduce the amount of data sent over the network between the client and the server. The open license nature of this software serves as a cost-effective method for businesses to implement usage of Project as a management tool. Companies with as many as 250 computers can use the Open License program to purchase software on a pay-as-you-go basis. For example, if you need to install Project 2007 Professional on two computers now and expect to install it on five additional computers later, you can, knowing that you have an open license. Project managers and team members using this software can easily export data to Excel and Visio to produce charts, graphs and diagrams, define custom report templates to share with team members and publish report templates to shared folders and SharePoint. Many of project management features are available in the software to make completing tasks a much easier proposition.
