This has made my job so much easier. A few kinks, but working it out.

Tooks sweet time delivering, but that's not up to Tech Supply Shop, they had it out of stock

The actual version that arrived is Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking 13 Premium, English. I was happy about that. The pretty box arrived a bit rough, but who cares, this is software. The box contained the headphones and a USB adapter (you can also use direct headphone connect). Installation was flawless, but the install disappears for a pretty long time initially. Don't worry, its still crunching away. Go make a sandwich or something. Software registration was quick and flawless. Dictation setup was flawless. I opted to do the 4-minute training so I can't comment on "out-of-the-box" recognition. After 4-minute training I would say that dictation accuracy was 95+%. Very nice. I worked flawlessly in MS WORD. Using it in Notepad+, Dragon opened a small Dragon proprietary full featured editor automatically. The proprietary editor took dictation and has a "TRANSFER" button at the bottom. When pressed, the text immediately ported into Notepad+ underneath. Wish Dragon had just worked in Notepad+ but....Dragon acquitted itself very nicely. No inconvenience. Speed of dictation was good. That's why I bought version 12(12.5) and not the newer version First Impressions...Great. Very Happy.. Exceeded my expectations for accuracy out of the box. Buy with confidence

Easy Learning Curve

There is a learning curve with Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking 13 Premium. My advice would be to take the time to go through the various training exercises and allow Dragon to examine your personal email and documents. This seems to improve accuracy in response time. Especially if you use technical or highly specialized vocabulary. Beside the time saved typing the editing features are strong. It also gives the advantage of reading the text back to me. This helps me catch simple errors and has greatly reduced the time and work necessary for final editing. I am doing this review using the Dragon NaturallySpeaking Premium 13 and the Microsoft LifeChat microphone.

Easy Installation

I found the installation of this software to be a straightforward process. I installed Dragon naturally speaking Premium 13 on a Windows 10 computer which took approximately 15 minutes to complete. No sooner had I installed the software it worked immediately and I was able to open my Word documents by simply commanding them to open, however, I then came across a drawback. The product comes complete with a microphone headset that is not very good and often led to me having to scream words multiple times into the microphone, the cost of losing my voice, for my voice to be recognised but after laying out the extra expense for a decent microphone that problem is now a thing of the past.
