The Axis Communications M3005-V 2 MP Fixed Mini Dome Network Camera (HDTV 1080p) is designed for retail stores, hotels, schools, and offices. The AXIS M3005-V camera captures footage at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 (HDTV). The camera is IP42 water- and dust-resistant and IK08 impact-resistant, and can be mounted on the wall or ceiling. It offers 3-axis camera angle adjustment for flexibility during installation. This camera also supports the corridor format for vertically oriented video streams that maximize coverage of areas such as corridors, hallways, or aisles. 

The M3005-V camera supports AXIS Camera Application Platform for intelligent video applications such as people counting. This camera also offers a convenient video management solution with its built-in microSDHC memory card slot for edge storage and support for software such as the complimentary AXIS Camera Companion. In addition, the camera package also comes with a 6.6 (2 m) network cable and features Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) functionality.

Axis' Corridor Format is achieved when the 3-axis camera angle adjustment is used together with the camera interface's ability to rotate the image. The format optimizes the coverage of areas such as aisles, hallways, and corridors, maximizing image quality while eliminating bandwidth and storage waste.
